Sashakt Balak, Saksham Bharat

Health & Hygiene Program

The Sashakt Balak, Saksham Bharat Program is committed to providing free medical treatment to marginalized and economically disadvantaged individuals. Through medical camps held in rural and semi-urban areas, this initiative offers vital healthcare services to those in need.

As an off-shoot of the Snehishikshan project, Sashakt Balak, Saksham Bharat has already benefitted about 210 children. These medical camps focus on various aspects of healthcare, including vaccination, maternal and reproductive health, child healthcare, and nutritional guidance, catering specifically to the needs of impoverished communities.

In addition to providing medical assistance, these camps educate participants about communicable and non-communicable diseases, their causes, and symptoms. Children’s health is closely monitored, and supplementary nutritious food is provided to combat malnutrition effectively.

Furthermore, the Ajit Foundation recognizes the importance of sanitation and cleanliness in improving overall living conditions. As part of this program, sanitation and cleanliness campaigns are conducted to raise awareness and promote hygienic practices within communities.
