A Support to the Numerous

Initiative for Clean Water

The Clean Water Project by Ajit Foundation aims to tackle rural water scarcity by providing sustainable access to clean water and sanitation services, ensuring universal and perpetual availability.

Ajit Foundation collaborates with local government bodies and organizations to implement clean water and sanitation initiatives tailored to each community’s needs. By offering essential support, we empower local communities to establish and maintain water purification systems effectively. Our approach involves installing water purifier units in partnership with local entrepreneurs, ensuring ongoing maintenance and providing clean water access to families for generations.

In one such initiative, Ajit Foundation installed a water purifier unit in Gadegaon Village, Barshi Dist- Solapur, benefiting 600 individuals at an approximate cost of Rs. 2.25 lakh. This pilot program serves as a model for scaling up similar initiatives in other affected villages. Additionally, efforts are underway to extend clean water access to school children by installing water purifier units in government schools across the region.
