Mr. Mahesh Nimbalkar, a dedicated primary school teacher, witnessed the struggles faced by students forced to leave school each year due to financial constraints or the need to contribute to family income. Many of these children hailed from families of landless laborers, nomadic tribes, and de-notified tribes residing on the outskirts of villages. Motivated by compassion, Mahesh resolved to address the issue of out-of-school children.
Initially, Mahesh provided educational materials and taught a few hours to these marginalized children. However, realizing the severity of the problem, he made the courageous decision to resign from his teaching job and commit to educating 100 wandering children.
