Empowering Communities

Making a Difference

Through our diverse range of outreach programs, we are dedicated to addressing key societal challenges and improving the lives of individuals across Maharashtra.

The Promise of Pencil

The Promise of Pencil is dedicated to promoting literacy and education among the disadvantaged communities of rural India. Our project provides essential school kits, including school bags, slate pencils, books, water bottles, tiffin boxes, tiffin bags, and writing pads, to children in need. These kits not only bring joy to the children but also serve as incentives for them to attend school regularly, thus supporting their education.

Together, we can create a society where every individual has the opportunity to live with dignity and achieve their full potential.

Initiated in 2018, The Promise of Pencil has already made a significant impact, reaching out to 500 out-of-school children. By targeting children in their early years, we aim to cultivate a habit of regular school attendance and nurture them into educated citizens.

Through our project, we promise to instill a dream of education among children, empowering them to pursue their aspirations and build a brighter future. Join us in our mission to provide access to quality education and opportunities for every child, regardless of their socio-economic background. Together, we can make a lasting difference in the lives of these young learners and the communities they belong to.

Snehishikshan

The Snehishikshan Project is dedicated to empowering street and working children in the cities of Solapur and Pune district. Rooted in public places such as bus stands, railway stations, marketplaces, and parks, this initiative aims to provide educational opportunities to children who face socio-economic challenges.

With the generous support of Gharda Chemical Ltd., Ajit Foundation launched the Snehishikshan Project to enroll and support children living and working on the streets. The project distributes learning materials like books and school kits and conducts various activities to stimulate the learning process among these children.

Since its inception, the Snehishikshan Project has reached out to 210 children, offering them a chance to develop their learning abilities and leadership skills. Through engaging activities, these children are encouraged to explore their capabilities and realize their full potential.
